Lachlan de Crespigny is the co-founder of Revelo, a technology company offering the largest online platform for U.S. companies to hire remote software developers. Representing a talent pool of 300K Latin-America-based technology professionals, Revelo’s platform enables U.S. companies to source, hire and manage highly qualified, English-speaking, time-zone aligned, full-time remote tech talent. With services including managing payroll, candidate benefits, taxes, and local compliance, Revelo provides an end-to-end, turnkey solution for sourcing, hiring and managing hard-to-find software developers quickly and easily. Revelo has helped hundreds of companies, from startups to Fortune 500s, build and scale their Engineering teams.
Lachlan and his co-founder, Lucas Mendes, grew Revelo from writing the first lines of code and making the first sales calls, to the largest platform for hiring remote software developers across Latin America.
He completed an MBA at Columbia University in New York City, and worked at the Boston Consulting Group in Sydney, Australia and São Paulo, Brazil.
While studying in the USA, Lach and his cofounder Lucas noticed the wave of technology companies changing America, and became convinced that this wave of disruption would sweep across the world, and that hiring software developers would be an ongoing difficulty for countries all across the world. With that in mind, they set out to build technology to help companies find and hire software developers across Latin America. With the shift to remote during the Covid pandemic, Revelo found itself with an influx of American clients looking to hire remote software developers in their timezone. Revelo quickly grew to become the main platform for US companies to hire remote software developers for long term opportunities across Latin America.
Lach loves being able to work in an industry that helps companies grow faster, and helps candidates change their lives, and believes that the shift to remote work will be one of the main drivers of prosperity for this decade. When not running Revelo he spends most of his time with his two daughters, and now knows all the words to every single Moana song by heart.
